Intersections

In this panoramic overview of the history of art and architecture during the 19th and 20th centuries, the site of interpretation is configured as an intersection of disparate motifs: a true network in which potential histories multiply, never able to reach a totalizing synthesis. History as a "problem" thus becomes a critical journey.

Historical space is configured as a network of interactive meanings; ours is, therefore, one of many possible narratives—no more certain than others, by no means exclusive, and certainly not superior. It is merely a working hypothesis that must find within itself the justifications for its structure to present itself as a credible critical commentary on the world of physical facts to which it refers.
