David Mutal Architect

Ediciones Pichoncito and the real estate firm Morada present their latest publication, titled David Mutal Arquitecto. The book features a photographic compendium of the work of one of the most prominent contemporary Peruvian architects, who has been recognized, among other honors, with the 2012 Hexágono de Plata for the Hotel B project and the 2015 Premio Casas from Grupo Editorial Cosas for the Residencial Santa Rosa project. The architect also received First Place in the Commercial Category at the Peruvian Architecture Biennial (2018).

The book contains over 300 pages of photographic material, infographics, architectural plans, drawings, archival photos, essays, and an interview with the architect.

David Mutal Vermeulen (1970) is a graduate of the Architectural Association in London and the Universidad Ricardo Palma in Lima. In 2000, he founded David Mutal Arquitectos in Lima and has since received diverse commissions in Peru, as well as in Argentina, Brazil, and the United States. He has also served as an architecture professor at the Universidad Ricardo Palma and the UPC, and later joined the founding team of the architecture faculty at the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú.
