Acoustics as a science encompasses various areas of human knowledge. It is a discipline present in all human activity, including the field of architecture.
It is precisely within this field that this book develops its subject matter, offering a straightforward approach to the theoretical guidelines required to apply these concepts to architectural projects. In Peru, bibliographic production is limited, particularly regarding technical subjects such as architectural acoustics.
Consequently, it is encouraging to see the initiative taken by architect Carlos Rivas to develop a text that assists architecture students and professionals in understanding the development of acoustic techniques.
