After months of rigorous compilation and editing, the BIALIMA 2021 CATALOG is now a reality. Spanning 437 pages, it documents the inaugural International Architecture Biennial of Lima (BIALIMA 2021)—an event supported by the Ministry of Housing, Construction, and Sanitation and the Bicentennial Project, and officially recognized as the Bicentennial Architecture Biennial.
BIALIMA 2021 sought to recognize and highlight best practices in architectural and urban design, providing a forum for discussing the challenges and possibilities facing our city. It established itself as an international benchmark, showcasing the work of Peruvian architects while facilitating a dialogue with similar initiatives across Latin America and the world. By emphasizing quality of life and sustainability in urban and building practices, BIALIMA 2021 fostered a deeper appreciation for architecture and urbanism, while underscoring the importance of collaboration between the state, the community, and professional associations.
