MENTES was founded in 2020 with the mission of fostering a sense of community and expanding interpersonal relationships under the direction of Mexican architect Lorenza Sierra. Its philosophy is centered on the idea that every mind is a world of its own, and that world deserves to be shared. The project seeks to develop critical thinking by sparking curiosity in its audience and raising awareness of tools that inform decision-making and new experiences, without being limited by conventional ideals.
Because everything has a foundation, we are interested in generating new sources of information that help us understand the path to a successful outcome. We want to make the background and context of each action evident. We strive to create spaces for discussion and dissemination, expanding the professional world of architecture with a focus on the young community. Rather than celebrating results, we highlight processes.
