MENTES was founded in 2020 with the mission of fostering a sense of community and expanding interpersonal relationships under the direction of Mexican architect Lorenza Sierra. Its philosophy is centered on the idea that every mind is a world of its own, and that world deserves to be shared. The project seeks to develop critical thinking by sparking curiosity in its audience and raising awareness of tools that inform decision-making and new experiences, without being limited by conventional ideals.
In 2022, they invited international architects with experience in Mexico and Mexican architects with experience abroad to write a letter to a loved one for their second publication. The edition features a hardcover with debossed detailing and 11 fold-out postcards, with a final size of 18x25 cm.
