Croft 3 Book

London practice fardaa have published a new book on their multi-award winning Croft 3 project on the Isle of Mull, Scotland. The book presents an overview of the project through drawings, images, and new texts by Biba Dow, Douglas Murphy and practice director Edward Farleigh-Dastmalchi.

Croft 3 is a restaurant and event space on a working croft on the Isle of Mull. It is owned and operated by Jeanette Lynn, who previously operated a charming, humble eatery from her home. The building in its current state was adapted by the architectural practice fardaa, but it incorporates a substantial ruined byre built 150 years earlier. The designs for the building were a response to this ruin, to the dramatic landscape beyond, and to the earlier restaurant.
