Interior design is the art of creation of space inside a building to achieve a more aesthetically environment for those who live in it. Remaining works from hundreds and thousands of years ago are evidence of the ancient art of interior design in Iran. Considering the historical background of this art in Iran, the first Interior Design Award was established in 2009 as an independent event by Honar-e Memari Institute.
The previous ten internal events of the Interior Design Award aimed at introducing predominant artworks in Iran. Honar-e Memari decided to hold the 11th edition of this award internationally from 2023 to recognize the best designers who use the full potential of a space with their creativity.
