In Focus: Radical Repair at Triennale Milano

The World Around and Fondation Cartier pour l’art contemporain, in collaboration with Triennale Milano, announce IN FOCUS: RADICAL REPAIR — a free public program in Milan as the first event of their collaboration.

IN FOCUS: RADICAL REPAIR will take place at Triennale Milano, one of the leading Italian cultural institutions in the field of architecture and design and Fondation Cartier cultural partner. The event invites eight interdisciplinary designers from Pakistan, Bolivia, Japan, Ethiopia, China, US and western Europe to reflect on the historic responsibility and complicity that architecture and its related fields has over the current climatic crisis, and asks what role it can play in creating, inventing and enacting radical forms of repair.

The event is curated by Beatrice Galilee, executive director of The World Around, and Béatrice Grenier, director of curatorial affairs at Fondation Cartier. The conference will be opened by Stefano Boeri, President of Triennale Milano.
