Vadabus Square and St. Paul Church / Ginseng Chicken

Ginseng Chicken Architecture P.C. has proposed a renewed identity for the St. Paul Church and Vadabus Square in Rakvere, Estonia by attempting to integrate three disparate elements of the site into a cohesive design strategy for a main concert hall.   With Arvo Pärt’s musical legacy and contribution to the genre of minimal music in mind, non-organization and non-sequentiality became the main driving force behind the design of the annex and were then translated into an architectural language.

New Facade for CDL Headquarters / Daniel Statham Architects

The CDL (City Development Land) Headquarters in Singapore created a competition to redesign their existing façade in an effort to attain high international sustainability standards.  The winning proposal by London and Madrid based Daniel Statham Architects incorporates a banded façade that creates innovative spaces and responds to environmental factors.

NBBJ presents design for UCLA’s Pauley Pavilion

NBBJ just revealed their latest design for UCLA’s Pauley Pavilion, slated to begin February 2010 and be completed just in time for the 2012-2013 basketball season.   Upon UCLA’s decision to renovate the existing Pavilion due to its strong sentimental value, NBBJ’s design includes new lobby and concourse space, as well as new facilities for the athletes and additional seating for fans.
