Industrial porcelain flooring from Gres Aragón is created to provide an effective response to the needs of facilities requiring additional safety and hygiene, such as industrial kitchens, facilities within the food industry, school canteens, etc. The Aciker Plus series offers Biokliner antibacterial flooring which uses the highest applied technology designed to prevent the growth of bacteria, fungi, and yeasts. This also prevents the development of odors and stains.

Manufacturing Process

A special treatment used in the Aciker Plus system is applied to the material during the pre-firing manufacturing process. The composition reacts during the firing process enhancing the technical properties and causing no change in the original desired characteristics and tones. Components used to this end include purified and modified clays as carriers of antimicrobial compounds.
