More about this product

The Gabled Bottom-Up FlexShade® window shade by Draper is designed to fit angle-topped architectural windows. The shade rises from a roller at the bottom of the window sill, utilizing natural daylight to its fullest extent. This is achieved by maintaining visibility while offering glare control, UV protection, and privacy that is easily adjusted with the motorized control. The Gabled Bottom-Up FlexShade® is available in a wide range of fabrics (see the full range).

Product Details

  • The shade retracts from the top down
  • The shade panel is kept under constant tension by thin cables that deploy from tensioned spring boxes and attach to a flexible hem bar.
  • Draper uses a .06-inch (1.5 mm) low-stretch, high-fatigue cable with a polyester jacket. It can handle angles up to 45 degrees in either direction
  • To assist with accurate and easier installation, the shade includes a built-in tracking adjustment found in the idler endcap. This makes it a simple two-step process to adjust the tracking of the fabric panel, ensuring it looks perfectly straight

Manufacturing

Draper Roller Shades are manufactured in the USA using primarily USA-woven fabrics from Phifer and Mermet, ensuring a simple and direct supply chain that gives Draper maximum control over fast deliveries and product availability.
