Characteristics
Sliding and swinging doors, glass openings, acoustic technology, modular elements
UniFor's DCA wall partitioning system is a modular interior wall series created to subdivide office spaces while maintaining a level of interconnectedness throughout. DCA wall partitions are characterized by high unique acoustic properties, combined with a sleek and elegant design. Flexible and customizable, the DCA series allows for versatile configurations with high visual permeability, adapting to individual project requirements.
Design Concept
Designed by David Chipperfield, UniFor's DCA partition system was originally created for a large headquarters office. DCA consists of partition walls with a self-supporting aluminum structure. Walls are available in transparent safety glass, with swing doors or internal sliding double-glazed doors. To emphasize a light feeling, the base profiles are concealed in the raised floor creating a floating illusion.
Acoustic Technology
DCA wall partitions can be equipped with customizable levels of acoustic insulation. Thus, the wall can be configured in single-glazed or double-glazed versions with an insulating cavity. The concealed joint acts as a point of union between the glazed panels, creating a uniform wall and eliminating any discontinuity.
