The mih wooden table from horgenglarus has an unimposing design that delivers an impact. The tabletop is decorated with a noble veneer, which is peeled from a single piece of trunk giving it a continuous wood pattern that stands out especially with dark stains. There are no joints to distract from the harmony of the monolithic table giving a type of elegant purism.
The 25 mm thick wooden tabletop is produced by horgenglarus especially for mih from beech plywood to meet the high demands for flatness of the top even without an inlay. It is assembled spanned with weights and supports like a vault. Based on the original design of the mih and in order to preserve the architectural expression, the designers have drawn the legs very slightly tapered. This gives them a straight appearance. The legs are carefully mortised to the tabletop. A central web connects the table legs running parallel to the tabletop.
