2020 CBDX | CITIES FOR ALL International Ideas Competition

Join us on Wednesday, February 10th, 2021 for the announcement of the winners of the CBDX: CITIES FOR ALL International Design Ideas Competition.

The global design community was asked to consider, as part of this first competition in the CBDX series, how matters of equity, activism, environment and wellness could shape the cities of our future. What does a city for all look like? How does it operate or come into being in the context of the current global pandemic, and encroaching reality of environmental degradation?

Designers from all around the world responded to this call for ideas, and the design proposals offer unique perspectives on how to make cities more equitable.

The prestigious panel of international jurors will award $6000 CAD in prizes to the winners, honourable mentions and finalists.

Jurors: Leire Asensio Villoria, Kimberly Dowdell, Gina Ford, David Fortin, Alvin Huang, Hanif Kara, Shelley McNamara and Alberto de Salvatierra (Jury Chair).
