David Miller. RE_SOLUTION: A Conversation with City Leaders Who Made a Change

David Miller, mayor of Toronto from 2003 to 2010 and Managing Director of C40 Cities Center for City Climate Policy and Economy, and Jorge Pérez de Leza, the CEO of Metrovacesa, will engage in a discussion about the creative industries and their impact on city making, emphasising themes of inclusion, arts, residents engagement, and creative use of IT.

The program will conclude with a cocktail and the signing of the book "Solved: How the World's Great Cities Are Fixing the Climate Crisis," which Miller describes as a guide on how some sizable cities have been able to lower their carbon emissions through a variety of initiatives, setting an example for the preservation of the environment.

“Re_Solution: A Conversation with City Leaders Who Made a Change” is a series of public events organised by IE School of Architecture and Design in which former mayors from around the world, alongside players from the public and the private sectors and the academic world, discuss how to make our cities better places.
