Anatolian Houses in Turkish Countryside Workshop

Emre Senan Design Foundation which is located in Yahsibey Village on the Aegean Coast, Turkey, has been running workshops for international students for nearly 20 years.

This is a 2-week long interiors and architectural workshop focusing on traditional Anatolian houses, reading and understanding their unique features, and reinterpreting them for a contemporary context.

Led by Nevzat Sayin, one of Turkey’s leading architects, and London-based academic tutor and architectural designer Inan Gokcek. The workshop will be held between 15th August to 30th August at Emre Senan Design Foundation’s building in Yahsibey Village.

The workshops are free of charge and the accommodation is provided by the organizers. Travel and other expenses will need to be provided by students themselves. More information, the application form and terms and conditions can be found attached.

Applications are open to international students studying Interior Architecture or Architecture.
