Meet Me Under a Roof of Leaves: The Use of Plants in the Design of Urban Spaces

We see the climate crisis as a clear indication that new social, aesthetic, economic and ecological values must be discussed and established. This also concerns the question of the possibilities of a climate-friendly transformation of our cities.

The exhibition "Meet Me Under a Roof of Leaves" shows examples from architecture, horticulture and art, with a special focus on the use of plants in the design of urban spaces. The focus is on the Filmwerkstatt's current research on the path towards a climate-neutral institution. Accompanying this, we will show a film programme dealing with central aspects of the exhibition. Furthermore, we would like to link different areas of knowledge with workshops and a symposium to open up practical spaces for action in which the change can be realised.
