The biennial award recognizes built projects that make meaningful contributions to achieving the <a href="/tag/united-nations">United Nations</a> <a href="https://www.archdaily.com/tag/sustainable-development-goals" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Sustainable Development Goals</a> (SDGs).
