We find moments of rest in the simple pleasure of a cup of coffee. When visiting a good café, one might not notice at first glance, but many places use this brand's machines. For those who love coffee, 'Lamarzocco' is a familiar name; yet for general consumers, it remains somewhat unfamiliar.

The meaning of Ujoohyun is a place where space and time come to life. Ujoohyun is a neighborhood living facility building built on a small 168 m2 plot of land in the Gangnam area of Seoul, Korea. It is also the office building of Chun Architects Firm. The identity of a city is created by so-called intermediate architecture, which exists innumerable times, rather than landmarks. I tried to create the universal difference of intermediate architecture in downtown Seoul through Ujoohyun.

The Audeum (Audio Museum), located in Seoul/Gangnam, is a museum that goes beyond the traditional concept of a museum. It is a place where you can not only see but also experience sound firsthand. Moreover, it is not just a place to listen to sound; it is an architectural instrument that returns humans to a natural state, allowing them to experience the five senses of the body.

The Seocho-dong Staircase Building is just a step back from the main road near Seocho Station. This location required a design that not only harmonizes with the vibrancy of the city but also blends seamlessly with the older surrounding structures. Additionally, the design had to carefully consider the 4-meter and 6-meter roads flanking the site and the northern sunlight regulations imposed on residential areas.

Seoripul Tree House - Seochodong, where the site is located, derives its name from the abundance of Seoripul plants. Streams from Umyeonsan Mountain flow around the site, located between the Seoul National University of Education and the Gyeongbu Expressway. In rainy seasons, the town nearby used to get quite foggy. While most Gangnam residences are filled with apartments or complexes, the area near the site is full of single housing, creating a silent atmosphere.
