The generous scale of the house called for an L-shaped layout, which allows most of the rooms to face both the sea and the pool and garden enclosed within the site. A separate caretaker’s house is located near the street entrance. Built on a previously filled site, the house stretches in a long, linear form between the required setbacks imposed by local building regulations.
