The Forbici Academy is a renovation project of an existing building that lacks a façade in the center of the city of La Plata. A foundational "chorizo" house that over time has filled its remaining patios, occupying 100% of the lot and depriving most of its rooms of air and light.

The house is conceived as a prism leaning against the south side of a square corner lot of approximately 30m on each side, releasing a large void towards good orientation. The absence of pre-existing vegetation, a condition of new private urbanizations in the periphery, made it necessary to design a "porous" house that includes a large number of intermediate shaded spaces.

This is a house located on the outskirts of the historic center of the city of La Plata, Province of Buenos Aires, Argentina. A growing periphery, with a high level of disorder, a context of chaos where some closed urbanization schemes have been flourishing, creating a complicated relationship with its mother environment. The assignment consisted of the construction of a two-bedroom single-family house, where different family conformations of four people can develop their lives.

This project consisted of the development of a set of four apartments grouped together on a plot located on the edge of the historic center of the city of La Plata. The small piece of land measuring 8 meters wide by 17 meters deep, required a very synthetic and orderly approach to be able to meet the surface requirement of the client without losing a good spatiality and fluid continuity of the space, as well as natural lighting.

“Quinta Tetuán” is one of those places where the challenge of the project is to make a landscape of its own, in this case in the semi-rural area of the periphery of La Plata. Here, life passes among large rows of eucalyptus trees that divide the property. There are some scattered constructions, orchards, pets, and various wild animals that give life to the place. The productive area of Los Hornos, of land transformed into bricks, historically vaunted as the material support of the capital city, and presently a fertile land, doomed to intensive fruit-horticultural production of a massive scope, where the rectilinear order and the succession of plantations shape its main constructions and consequent images.

The commission was a clothing store located in a new shopping area in the city of La Plata, Argentina. An old house with structural damage was replaced with a simple industrial vessel that provides great flexibility for the sales area. The work develops through three elements, the facade, the interior and the patio. The facade rebuilds the skyline of the block and configures a plane of solar control at the top and windows display and public access in the lower part.

The Urban Planning Code requires, for this area , withdrawals both from the dividing axes and from the municipal lines of both streets.
