Designed as a sensorial journey, the architecture of Yuki bridges the soulful essence of Balinese tradition with the refined minimalism of Japanese design, creating a contemporary space that honors both heritage and the horizon.

The Project - The project consists of two houses that are part of the Bandido Bali complex. "We wanted to create a unique experience of design, communication, culture, and architecture." I believe that today, we live, work, and even have fun in squared, dull, rigid boxes with little connection to nature. The main mission of the architectural project was to create an alternative and break away from the conventional box of our daily life. To explore a different way of living, break paradigms, and make architecture the means that inspires and evokes that way of living. I wanted to create a place where tradition and contemporary had no boundaries, where both the interior and exterior could merge, where humans and nature could integrate, and where bamboo and cement could dance in unison. The houses ended up being transformed into a sensory, emotional, and visual showcase inspired by Bali.

Luke House in Uluwatu, Bali - This residence is situated in a breathtaking area near the Uluwatu cliffs in Bali. This land provides a view of the vast ocean, where we can observe the sunset every evening. With relatively rectangular land adjacent to several new villas. Architects must be capable of meeting the necessities of this family. The family is comprised of a couple from two different countries who value Balinese culture and nature. I felt the need to maximize the existence of a very specific site location on the south side of Bali, where the violent waves from the Indian Ocean crashing against the cliff edge were very exotic and combined with the calm horizon where the hot sun abruptly descended and set into the sea. gradually, it became black. The soil in the region of Uluwatu consists primarily of rock and coral, making it simple to attach structures to the rock, but obtaining clean water is extremely difficult.

A prefabricated tiny house using recycled Tetra Pack Cartons as wall and roof material, bringing together unique design while playing a part in the local, circular economy. The Tetra Pod is a 64sqm home with all living amenities elevated 40cm off the ground, built from wood, steel, glass and recycled materials. The architecture seeks to blend into its surroundings by making use of the recycled materials' reflective characteristics, while strategically placed openings carefully frame view corridors. The diagonally oriented floor plan creates exciting spaces that exude outward into the exterior. The balanced compromise of open facades and the use of space make this small home elegant and spacious.
