Held in 2007, the National Public Competition for the TRT Law Courts Complex 18th Region reaches its conclusion after a long process of almost fifteen years. It is important to highlight the fact that its realization – strategically carried out in phases – fully respects the original proposal, a rare event in our national context, especially considering its large scale. Considering its public and collective vocation, the consolidation of this institution is a fact that reaffirms the value of the efforts made by so many during this period: workers, civil servants, designers, architects, engineers, public authorities, among many others. Thus, what we witness is the consummation of the idealized primary character of offering a free, democratic and open public space to the city, today alive in the growing appropriations by the population of an increasingly denser context and still scarce of civic spaces of this nature.

Upon entering this house, time seems to slow down and we are transformed from mere visitors to new residents, discovering the true essence of what living is. Oásis Ventú, is formed by two integrated environments, fluid and full of Brazilian spirit. Visitors will pass through a garden, created in the middle of a rough beige bahia marble path. A Brazilian and striking choice, which values presence and contact with nature, and which marks the difference between the external and internal environment. The choice of colors was inspired by a palette of earthy tones, which refer to nature and simplicity.

More than a residence, this project is a laboratory, office, and generator of knowledge and permaculture and bioarchitecture practices. Several tests and ecotechnologies are constantly implanted in this house-school. In the first floor is developed the social part of the house. The living room has double ceiling height and zenithal lighting in order to improve the thermal and luminous comfort. This room is directly connected to the balcony, which closes with mineralized wood brises, giving access to the deck and the pool. On the lower floor are the service environments: offices, toy library, and garages.

The ground, in slope, is located in a very beautiful place of Goiânia. Immersed in a private condominium, on a dead-end street facing the woods, the residence proposes a harmonious dialogue between architecture and nature, observing the physical and topographical conditions, as well as the solar orientation and the winds. The volume of the house was defined from the choice of concrete as the main building element.
