Given out <a href="https://www.archdaily.com/879518/zhang-ke-awarded-2017-alvar-aalto-medal?ad_source=search&amp;ad_medium=search_result_all" target="_blank">every three years</a> by the <a href="https://www.archdaily.com/tag/alvar-aalto-foundation">Alvar Aalto Foundation</a>, the medal “can be given to persons who have gained merit in the field of creative architecture in a very significant way”.</p>]]>
