The brightly shimmering, 15-meter-high new building of the New Apostolic Church rises out of a tree-lined meadow flanked by the multi-lane federal road 294, a parking lot and the adjacent railroad line. The sculpturally shaped, polygonal structure marks the western entrance to the city of Pforzheim and is immediately recognizable as a sacred building. Its sloping roof rises from east to west and is crowned at its highest point by a striking skylight above the church hall.

After three years of construction, a visitor center has emerged as a walk-in building sculpture on the premises of Rapunzel Naturkost GmbH in Legau. The new visitor center is designed to be public and inviting and is intended to make Rapunzel's leitmotif "We make organic out of love" tangible for visitors. A house is full of discoveries that invite guests to linger and participate in varied and emotional imparting of knowledge.

Location and structure. The Gradmann Foundation initiated a building ensemble in the best inner-city location in Ostfildern-Ruit. The new building at a central intersection of the district shows itself as a representative prelude to the street front. The existing buildings were dismantled for implementation.
