Who we are:

Planlux is an independent architectural lighting design studio established in 2009, based in Istanbul. Our services are; architectural lighting design, light identity design, luminaire design, and natural light studies. We have developed many lighting schemes for hospitality, food & beverage, office, retail, residential, commercial, leisure, and environmental projects in various scopes and scales. To us, each project is unique and requires a personalized focus. We search and study architectural concepts, details, and how we use light to create the ideal, sustainable, and easily manageable lighting schemes. Planlux is an independent lighting design practice with no commitment, alliance, or affiliations to lighting manufacturers and suppliers. We're members of IALD (International Association of Lighting Designers) and bound by the association's Code of Ethics. We believe that light is an indispensable part of our built environment, not an insertion. We search and study architectural concepts, details, and how we use light to create the ideal atmosphere. We aim for a combination of creativity, efficiency, and expertise. Our priority is to provide a great lighting design project experience for our clients and their teams to focus on flexible project management processes to prevent as many risks as possible. We support various organizations and educational activities working towards the lighting design community's education and cultural development.
