AGORA is the cornerstone of a series of renovations to provide the National Veterinary School of Alfort (École Nationale Vétérinaire d'Alfort - EnvA) campus with state-of-the-art teaching and research tools. This iconic training facility in the Maisonnais region, covering nearly 10 hectares, is listed in the supplementary register of historical monuments and has just celebrated its 250th anniversary. The new facility opens a new chapter in the school's prestigious history.

This auditorium is a new symbol in the suburban city of Bondy. Suburbs have built an empire of shopping malls, individual houses and parking lots. Located on the outskirts of Paris, Bondy has a loose and low-density urban fabric. The architecture of the building plays with the aesthetics of the hangar : a very simple square plan and an undulated metal skin. Unlike a traditional hangar, it opens to its context through a series of arches, letting in natural light and views. Inside, every space has a specific acoustics related to its function and its ambiance.

The metal roof pans adapt the same aesthetic as the blocks by introducing variations and rhythms in the folds of the roof elements to create coloured modulations on the facades. The undulating folded metal roof protects the patios from risks of overheating in summer and creates a microclimate in the terraced gardens.
