The Conservatory of Music is at the heart of a much broader public project. It serves as a catalyst for a refined urban lifestyle, breathing new life into the entire public pedestrian space. The use of massive stone in the construction is a striking environmental performance. With little transformation at a nearby source, it makes for a low carbon footprint.

The Anthropocene, i.e. the Age of Man, is the period in the history of the Earth that began when human activities had a significant and largely negative overall impact on the Earth’s ecosystem. As architects, we have a responsibility to reduce the impact of our activities on the environment. Ada Lovelace's secondary school was therefore designed with this in mind. It is a sustainable and environmentally friendly building. As the 1st exemplary clean energy school (BEPOS) with the NoWatt label and silver level BDM for Occitania, the building offers future users – students and teachers – an amenity that has been designed in total harmony with its environment.

The site for the expansion and the renovation of the Molina school is on a privileged area. Due South, it overlooks the plains of Cuges-les-Pins, the biggest Polje in France. On this exceptional geographical site, up against the Sainte Baume on its south side, the future school offers very wide and open views on the Cuges-les-Pins fertile lands, dear to the town, on which a typical agriculture is encouraged, as well as on the forest mountains next to them. At the junction of two paths, the structure highlights the limits of urbanization.
