About us

Who we are:

Bradley-Hole Schoenaich Landscape design timeless, pure, landscapes inspired by their context. We apply a forensic investigation to each project, its history, geology, ecology, landscape, culture. We always want to understand its roots. We focus on the particular. We want to draw out the unique in a project, not what makes it normal. We focus on the details, geometry and proportion. We are multi-award winning, creative, energetic and keen to participate. Our background is diverse – in conservation, architecture, horticulture, botany and research. We are known for our pioneering work – international symposiums, writing, teaching and lecturing across the world. We are international in all senses, within our teams and in our travel for research and collaboration. We encourage collaboration and iteration. Architects enjoy working with us, as do clients, artists, engineers and contractors. We work closely with specialist nurseries. Christopher Bradley-Hole’s widely publicised and award winning designs include three gold medals at the Chelsea Flower Show and the publication of two books on modern landscapes. Brita von Schoenaich’s teaching and lecturing have been influential in changing British attitudes to landscape and garden design.
