This project takes place in the 15e arrondissement in Paris, in a very dense urban tissue. The project was built to achieve the extension and renovation of the vaccination center (CMIP) and created a new research and innovation center specializing in human audiology (CERIAH).

The building is organised around six spaces: the garden, four external courtyards and the ‘Rue intérieure’ which connects the other spaces and the entrance to form a 'social heart' for the institute. Between the compressed western half of the building and the open garden spans a library ‘bridge’ which connects the community of scholars, professors, and staff with a series of interlocking halls, reading rooms and loggias spaces. The outer form of the block is held by the 800 offices with a fine-grained structure, sitting above the larger laboratories and amphitheatres below which have greater spans. At ground level the structure is as open as possible so the public spaces and garden can flow together to form a continuous civic landscape.

Maïmat square, located in the northern neighborhood of Muret (31 Toulouse), was designed on the model of the “Grands Ensembles” which were favored in the 1960s. The impermeable ground surface is the domain of car parks and permanent traffic flows. Large, ribbon-like buildings are placed around the outside of the site, enclosing it in on itself. At the heart of the complex, a shopping center has been progressively underused in this impoverished neighborhood.

Built for a public social housing body, this building is located on the Avenue de Grande-Bretagne in Toulouse joins an existing complex of low-rise blocks and a sixteen storey tower block laid out around a park planted with trees. The complex is adjacent to the ZAC de la Cartoucherie, an emerging priority development zone.
