        <![CDATA[<p>Nanshan Junning Resort is located in a valley in Central Anhui with a 10-meter elevation difference, featuring a mountain slope, bamboo forest, access road, and seasonal stream. Buildings are arranged along the terrain: linear against the mountain, embracing the bamboo grove, and loosely scattered for public functions near the road. Guided by the concept of "Taming the Water", the mountain stream is slowed and channeled to form terraced cascading water features. A pool-shaped building with a water roof is set at the original pond to create a submerged residence, while a crescent-shaped pool at the stream's source forms a water curtain as the garden's "Water Eye".</p>]]>

Having left their hometown for Guangzhou at a young age, her family rarely returns. This renovation of their ancestral home aims to improve living comfort and create better conditions for family reunions—offering the next generation a tangible connection to their roots. Since the house is not for daily use, the design also prioritizes low maintenance and cost control.</p>]]>

Since 2016, this section of the ancient wall had been listed for emergency conservation due to foundation settlement and structural cracking. During the repair process, a stratified structure of "walls built upon walls," spanning the Five Dynasties, Song, Ming, and Qing periods, was uncovered. This led to the approval by the National Cultural Heritage Administration for systematic archaeological excavation.</p>]]>

        <![CDATA[<p>Liangzi Island is a small island on Liangzi Lake in Ezhou, not far from Wuhan. If you encounter rainy and foggy weather, the visibility is not high, and there is a feeling of going to sea. At the moment when I was waiting for the return trip to board the boat at dusk, I felt that it was necessary to give this island a spiritual place that symbolized "going home", so that the usual ritual behavior of going to the island and outlying the island would have a little symbolism. I came up with a lot of words: "fisherman's lights", "lighthouse", "watching the sunset" to find a ceremonial anchor for this project. These nice anchors and flowery scheme rhetoric ignore a very rational functional requirement - that is, the act of going to the island and going down to the island itself.</p>]]>

The tower stands at a height of 23 meters and is located in the central area of the national modern agricultural demonstration zone with high-standard farmland. It spirals up from the rice fields like a sculpture, with triangular elements and white membranes defining its clean design language, giving it a strong presence on the rural land.</p>]]>

        <![CDATA[<p>" Pavilion ∞" is located in a village in the hilly area of western Zhejiang Province. The village sits halfway up the mountain and has good views on all sides when you look far. Most of the houses in the village had been renovated into residential hostels, so a restaurant and reception space were needed. This Pavilion is the first building to be seen when get into the village, it is rebuilt from a native private house. The first floor is adjacent to the road, and serves as the reception area of the village and the kitchen logistics area; while the second floor has a wide view and would be a good spot for a restaurant. The back of the pavilion is close to the bamboo forest and in front of the natural landscape. So how should this architecture be among the natural landscape? It's a question that design is required to answer.</p>]]>

        <![CDATA[<p>The roof is the connection between the building and the sky, an important shelter of the space, but also the core element of the building. The formal logic of the roof is influenced by two natural elements, gravity, and rain. Gravity is known as a permanent law of all things, however, rain is known as a natural thing that changes all the time. The resistance to gravity and the dredging of the rain determine the evolution of the roof. With the development of modern materials and mechanics, natural elements are no longer dominant in the form of roofs. The architecture shows an incomparably powerful human result, becoming more and more like a machine. The geometric purity of the form and the sense of the manual operation of the form (cutting, twisting …... ) demonstrate the ambition of modern people. Our philosophy of architecture is not like this. Architecture is not to drive away from nature, but to accept each other in the unity of man and nature: to guide the wildness of nature and to take good care of the vitality of nature. </p>]]>

Due to inconvenient transportation, many excellent traditional buildings and production methods have been preserved. In order to promote Tujia culture and improve the poverty of local villagers, the local government and villagers jointly developed the Chinese Tujia Pan-Museum. The new parts of this project include the main tourist center, secondary tourist center, Moxiaolou, Moke Bridge, Dixian Bridge, Tujia Culture Exhibition Center, research dormitories and classrooms, etc., with a total construction area of about 30,000 square meters.</p>]]>

        <![CDATA[<p>This project serves as a community for relocated suburban residents, which includes 400 households from six nearby villages. Phase 1 of the project was completed in 2021, as villagers moved in and a variety of small businesses started to bloom, a sense of community has formed spontaneously.</p>]]>

        <![CDATA[<p>The “Box-type waterproof wall” is the last barrier in the Yangtze River flood control system, the long strip space with 8m depth inside is encouraged to be used for various shops. However, in our impression, there are more clubs, high-end restaurants, and tea rooms, and luxury 4S shops. They stand in stark contrast to the people flying kites, dancing, walking dogs, and strolling in the riverside park. This bookstore transformation, with coffee and exhibitions, is the first space in the section that really opened the door and welcomed people to come and go freely. On the other hand, as an architect in <a href="/tag/wuhan">Wuhan</a>, it is particularly meaningful to do a project on the riverbank. After all, the flood of 1998 is our most important childhood memory.</p>]]>
