Symbiotic | Fitting the environment
The project is located in the Blue Coast of Qinhuangdao City, Hebei Province. To the south of the base is the vast Bohai Sea and high-quality sandy beach, which is also the base of national Marine sailing sports. At the north of area are community parks and sports facilities, which is all about relaxing sports and life. This project is the supporting facilities of national Marine sailing sports, with a total construction area of about 998 square meters, consisting of two single buildings.

MONOARCHI is a young architecture design company based in Shanghai. The office is located at the core of the Former Shanghai French Concession. The original neighborhood is referred to the buildings Britain and Spain back in the 1940s. After more a hundred years of history, the neighborhood still retains the peace. As an important witness of the history of Shanghai, it is listed as a protective historical building. The existing neighborhood is a residential area, we, as architects who are obsessed with working in spaces with stories, renovated a building inside this neighborhood and moved in in 2018.

The entinre building of Hangzhou Qiyun Resort was reconstructed from an old residential building. At the beginning of the reconstruction, the original brick bearing structure was removed, only the original facade was retained, and the space was re-integrated with steel structure. While preserving the original architectural features, it also increases the span of the space, reconstructs the continuous public space, makes up for the drawbacks of the narrow indoor space, and improves the spatial quality. Interior design removes complicated decorative elements, and minimalist and light industrial style design permeates every corner.
