The Nagoya-based logistics company came up with the idea of adding a café to the complex to enliven the local community. Their vision was to create a landmark community space for the locals, with the café at its heart.

The Panasonic Group Pavilion, The Land of NOMO, is designed for children. Through an organic and fluid architectural form, the pavilion seeks to reflect the image of children, whose futures remain unfixed and ever-evolving. While the Japan Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai featured a highly systemized structure based on geometry, the Panasonic Pavilion explores a structural approach that appears free-form and organic.

The renovation of a small retail space previously used as a barber in Shirokane, Minato Ward did not occur with any particular request from the owner: except that the location will be used as an apparel showroom several times a year. In addition, the existing walls and ceiling of the space was made in plasterboard, with linoleum floor covering. In order to discover more from this banal space that has no particular feature or use, I decided to proceed and redesign the space while staying on site.

The temple was founded by the shipbuilding company to console the spirit of the dead in accidents at sea and industry. Visitors can expect a memorable Zen experience at the complex. KOHTEI offers the visitors an opportunity to contemplate spirit of Zen by looking at its landscape/gardens and being subjected to a meditation like experience through its art installation. The building is designed by Japanese contemporary artist, Kohei Nawa and SANDWICH. The architecture within SANDWICH was directed by Lee Yoshitaka and Yuichi Kodai.
