The Masia de Sant Josep, built in the mid-19th century, was a large agricultural estate where sharecroppers and a large number of day laborers worked. The house featured wine presses and a cellar, an oil mill, and a large silkworm rearing room (andana) destined for sericulture. Attached to the Masia were various economic dependencies, such as the now-demolished lateral pavilions, of which only the south-facing ground-floor walls and the chapel remain. At the end of 2017, the Montserrat City Council acquired the complex, which had been abandoned since 2004, with the aim of rehabilitating and expanding it. The ideas competition launched for the project proposed restoring the Masia to serve as the town hall and reconstructing the lateral wings to house the new headquarters of the Montserrat City Council, as well as designing the front and rear gardens.

Located in the heart of Manchuela Conquense, this rectangular-plan house is organized around two courtyards that originally functioned independently and went unnoticed. Entrepatios was built to help the owners create a new meeting place to gather with family, enjoy calm and tranquility, and recharge all their senses. Z3 Arquitectura Interior designed the project with the main objective of connecting the natural light and ventilation provided by the courtyards with the rest of the rooms, visually linking them to maximize space and create new corners that invite users to share unforgettable moments and experiences.
