The characteristics of Corten steel has been respected by all architects, both for its strength and for its particular color. It corresponds to a type of steel manufactured with a chemical composition that provides an oxidation that protects the piece, practically without altering its mechanical characteristics. The architectural details of Corten steel present a diversity of situations and connections, not only the obvious constructive factor but it also gives an aesthetic value to any architectural project.

But while utilitarian steel structures tend to be hidden by architects, working with exposed steel can lead to attractive results. Steel not only brings lightness to a design, but can also offer different expressions of color and texture, depending on the treatment of the material.
The building occupies a singular geometry plot, the available space has the form of an almost equilateral triangle whose facades give urban roads of different character. On one side is the Avenue of Merindades that is the only way that surrounds the building and therefore must accommodate the road access, the building also offers street facade of The Almoceda having pedestrian nature, while its third façade overlooking the park leading down to the shore of Queiles. Moreover, the plot has a significant widening gap in the north-south direction, so that in the southern corner of the plot, in the encounter between the Merindades Avenue and La Almoceda street lies the highest point, with a total drop of nearly two meters.
