The design of the common areas and landscaping for Bem Viver General Jardim is a complementary work in harmony with the building's architecture, developed by SIAA Arquitetos. The volume of air, the void, is one of the most celebrated and timeless hidden elements in the history of architecture. Between the stone pillars of ancient temples, between the arches of Gothic cathedrals, under Brunelleschi's dome, among Baroque and Rococo ornaments — whether in Brazil or abroad —, under Niemeyer's concrete shells, the void is always present. And if architecture is customarily analyzed by its hard elements, we can easily forget that they actually fulfill another parallel ambition, which is to encapsulate the void in such a way that materiality makes sense, and is responsible for what we call Architecture.

A few years ago, there were work desks and meeting rooms on these floors. Architect Angelo Bucci converted the office building into residential apartments for the developer SKR. This project occupies 2/4 of the third floor, the result of the unification of two of the new units. Developing the interiors of this apartment meant continuing a line of thought that begins on the sidewalk. There are very few buildings in São Paulo that provide an integral experience of contemporaneity and integrity.
