Located in the Aldeia do Vale Condominium in Goiânia (GO), this residence designed by the Riccioppo Architecture office materializes the desires of the resident and the solutions proposed to navigate the natural conditions of the land. The project was created for a man in his 50s, divorced and with children, who lives between work trips. He wanted a refuge connected to nature — for rest and contemplation.

Architecture as a simple and efficient support site, rooted in sustainability and modularity, Pavilhão Praia arises from a non-conventional demand for a house. It was developed initially for the CASACOR Minas 2022 exhibition, which shapes the challenge of designing a seaside building in wintertime in a place without access to the sea. The design presents this substance in a balanced way.

Sui, from the Latin expression Sui Generis, means that which is unique and original, even peculiar. This building was erected in just 20 days on the iconic garden of Palácio das Mangabeiras, in the capital of Minas Gerais, Brazil. There was a reverent respect for the environment as we tried to create a gentle dialogue between what was already there and what was introduced there. Thus synchronizing the landscape with the manmade.

Inspired by the modernist lines, Studio + Fórmica, an environment at CASACOR Minas, stands out for its architecture with organic shapes, conceived in honor of the 22nd Week. The architects Assis Humberto and Marcus Vinícius, founders of Studio Arquitetônico, took on the commitment to create the Studio + Fórmica project, the functional kitchen of CASACOR Minas. A tradition in the show, the space has been hosting a series of gastronomic meetings and show-classes, promoting meetings and the Minas Gerais culture of bringing people together around the table for gastronomic experiences. The program includes the presence and participation of guest chefs for a series of actions such as brunches, lunches, dinners and wine tastings.

The straight lines subtly contrast the curves of the Palácio das Mangabeiras, highlighting the contemporary in a bold and youthful way. The proposal was to create an environment that dialogued with the whole, expressing the modernist memory through a contemporary solution and bringing elegance through form, materials and textures. It was to create an environment that spoke for itself, receptive to the most diverse interpretations.
