The establishment of the factory led to the construction of a series of buildings for employees and workers, aiming to locate them as close as possible. Thus, the Aperribai neighborhood emerged on its slopes. Today, the neighborhood lacks adequate accessibility to services and residential buildings, where major connectivity problems exist due to the steep slope on which the housing was built, adapting to the existing topography. Consequently, in 2019, HIKA arquitectura y urbanismo implemented the neighborhood's Comprehensive Urban Accessibility Plan, which identified significant deficiencies and difficulties in urban connection and access. As a result, an intervention using an urban elevator and a mechanical ramp was proposed.
