Integrating vegetation indoors serves many purposes, whether practical, aesthetic, or psychological. Although there are basic requirements for incorporating greenery into Homes, well-thought-out plant selections and placements are characteristically different across the world. By going over recent interior works, a few recurrent plantscaping design patterns arose, each reflective of distinctive climates, building styles, and traditional building techniques.

The main challenge of this project was to rehabilitate the premises while maintaining the essence of the place also adapting it to HB Estudi’s style and the current architectural trends.

This project is located on the ground floor of a residential block. In the beginning, it was a parish, later a printing press, and finally a bazaar. The first time I visited it, the distribution and products from the bazaar were still there. The challenge was immense.

All this combined with continuous flooring made with micro cement brings a clean touch to the space. In this way, the floor also gives protagonism to the ceilings that are kept with their original moldings, with the exception of the living-dining room, in which we opted for wood effect beams to bring even more warmth to the space. All this creates an environment where the neutral tones and textures of the materials, in combination, create a harmonious effect in each room.

The house is located in the historic medieval quarter of the town and it is estimated that the building may have belonged to the part of an old convent. In the 20th century, we find the current construction, a typical Valencian country house with the rooms of the house located on the ground floor and an attic on the upper floor used to store the harvest.

The project begins with the urban development of the plot, located within the city's southern limit. In the development of volumetry, it is intended to define a volumetric arrangement focused on favoring the optimal application of bioclimatic criteria and reducing energy consumption. Criteria are fundamentally based on an optimal orientation of the bodies to facilitate solar gain and a building depth that allows the resulting dwellings to have a double facade to facilitate cross ventilation. The aim is also to increase the environmental quality of the open spaces inside the plot with the objective that they have maximum sunlight to the south and that the distances between the building bodies are as large as possible.

The project to reform the Farinera de Can Suau consists of the performance of a forgotten urban corner in Llubí (Mallorca). Bounded by the rear facades of the adjoining houses, there are two buildings that have historically functioned, one conditioned by the other. It is the Molí de Can Suau, a heritage building, as well as its attached "Farinera", a later construction dating from 1900. The proposal consists of urban action, generating a new semi-public urban space in the municipality. The resulting project is a new plaza for Llubí where new vertical connections have been placed outside to achieve the greatest free space inside the Farinera.
