The site is in a corner of a residential area developed along the lakeshore road. The site has a stepped terrain along the lakeside, and from the site, you can see the nearby gardens, the roofs of private houses, and the mountains in the distance. An environment that stretches in each direction, dotted with views of varying distances.

The place is at the foot of the Mt.Mannichi. Around the site, there is a residential area that follows the contours of the mountain and a new residential area where various houses are mixed. The client wanted to live a quiet life while looking at the mountains and the sky. They wanted the three parking spaces needed to invite their parents and friends. Building a one-story building was also an essential requirement. We decided to plan a long and narrow area excluding the parking lot from the site.

Citizens who have experienced earthquakes have become aware of symbiosis more than ever by helping each other. What I shared with the client was to aim at how to interact with citizenship activities, not as a rental income facility.

The owner's request was a spacious and bright living room, a plan that felt family signs, a sleeping space for guests. There are various forms satisfying this demand. I studied a format that is one of them. In order to secure the cost and brightness, we decided not to rely on a unit called a joinery or wall based room but a gentle segment method.

It is a small house project. There are Japanese homes around the site with a certain density and there is a row of cherry blossoms on the side of the site. The client wanted to live while watching the cherry blossoms. But it isn't able to avoid a private problem to grant the request in this land near a road.So we proposed a simple answer.I made them reverse the construction of the floor.
