VUUV building is built with 8 floors, each has an area of 4x25m, combining different functions of housing and other services. Located in the heart of Hanoi, the building is studied to respond to the context of a growing city with compact construction density and to welcome a large number of users in the building. The main design idea is to be versatile and suitable for many different needs in urban areas.

Jasmine house is located in a small lane in Ba Dinh District, Hanoi, once belonged to Ngoc Ha Flower Village. Like many other areas around the inner city, there has been a strong urbanization process here. Yet thanks to its own unique feature of being located near the city center and diplomatic headquarters, the area gradually became a residential area of foreign community living and working in Vietnam. This has been creating a big change to the appearance and nature of buildings here. There are not only small houses for households, but also alternating larger buildings to welcome newcomers. That is why buildings with apartments for rent have been very prevalent here.

Density has always been a strong characteristic in the urban design of Hanoi. Historically horizontal concentration has been typical and more recently vertical construction has intensified the capital. Going against the trend of compressing building density, the Organic Café plays with architectural contrasts to propose a resilient microcosm within the urban context.
