This work presents a design process that stems from complex programmatic and geographic premises. The program proposed by the couple reflected their desire for diverse spaces and uses, a result of their wide-ranging professional activities. She is a fashion consultant, businesswoman, and communicator. He is a musician, writer, and designer. The project included a music studio, an art studio, a chapel, and an auxiliary building with a suite, kitchen, pantry, and a small wine cellar/cheese storage room.

A house designed for a hillside amidst the Atlantic rainforest. Situated at the top, where the access to the land is also located, this residence was built with a mixed system of structural masonry and reinforced concrete, and in addition to these materials, it features glass as one of the main elements, creating a solid structure that integrates with the topography of the land.

Manguatá Building is the third project we developed for TiCO in the Brooklin neighborhood. The project has 22 apartments, between 46 and 84 m2 of private area, spread over 6 floors and a store on the ground floor.

The Canuanã Farm School is located in the interior of the state of Tocantins, in the municipality of Formoso do Araguaia, on the banks of the Javaés River, in front of Bananal Island. Canuanã is approximately 300km from Palmas, the capital of the state, amidst the rural area that expands every year with agribusiness. It was founded in 1973 by the Bradesco Foundation as one of the units that offers free education from elementary to technical education, where approximately 800 children and adolescents between 6 and 18 years old live and study, children of farmers or rural workers from the Brazilian center-north, grandchildren of settlers of the agrarian reform carried out by the Incra.

Located in the city of Mucugê, surrounded by the Serra do Sincorá, this house gave us the privilege of designing in an exceptional environment, Chapada Diamantina, in the interior of Bahia. The lot is in front of the Santa Isabel Church, in the square of the same name. The city has an architectural complex of 2 churches, 300 single-story houses, and 10 townhouses listed by IPHAN (Institute of National Historical and Artistic Heritage), which further increased our responsibility for the concept to be adopted and other design decisions.

The Indiana Building is the second project we developed for TiCO. Also located in the Brooklin neighborhood, close to the TiCO RV Building, the project is located on a 1000 m² plot, in a wooded area, predominantly occupied by residential townhouses.

Located on the banks of the Javaés River, in Formoso do Araguaia city, Tocantins state, the Canuanã farm school was founded by Bradesco Foundation in 1973 in order to meet the educational demand of children and adolescents between 6 and 18 years old. The school works as a boarding school, serving children of settlers, caboclos, and indigenous people who live in the rural area of north-central Brazil. In addition to around 800 students, the farm has 270 employees in the areas of pedagogy, nutrition, health, and administration.

The narrow and long terrain of Casa Ubaíra indicated that the entire width of the lot would be used to arrange the program requested by the clients. To create well-lit and ventilated environments, the internal spaces are interspersed with patios, communicating frankly with this interior landscape.

The project for this house was to plan the intervention and expansion of a house from the 40s, in a garden neighborhood in the city of São Paulo. This planning aimed to serve 3 generations of a family, a couple, their respective mothers, and a child.

In an urban plot with 200m², the project strategy made possible the implementation of 12 1-bedroom apartments, all with 2 facades and two of them with a generous garden. The program also has a store on the ground floor, bathroom and communal laundry. On the roof there is a solarium and an area for parties and meetings.

This house represents a very common situation in São Paulo, a long and narrow ground [5.6x30.0m], with only the front elevation free of interference of the buildings around it. The challenge increased from the moment that we had to meet an extensive program for this area, which led us to maximum occupancy allowed, 170m2.

In this project, the design of the house comes with some special conditions of the place where it is inserted, a garden neighborhood in the city of São Paulo. The flat and wide ground found by the family was used as an orchard and has several fruit species such as uvaia, pitanga and especially jabuticabeiras.
