As part of the comprehensive development of the Master Plan of the Hacienda Xcanatún by Angsana Heritage Collection, the assignment consisted of designing a spa that could fit into the catalog of the complementary amenities of the hotel and the real estate project from the Villes, currently in development.

Bugambilias Apartments / Taller Mexicano de Arquitectura

The project is located on a lot of 303 m2. The main intention of the project was to take advantage of the maximum saleable square meters. This is why the apartments are distributed on all floors, including the ground floor, while leaving space for a parking area too.

The project was born from the need to recover an old house located in the historic
center of the city of Mérida, México. Casa Deco is one of the few houses in the historic center of Merida that are characterized by having the architectural style that bears its name; This style was not the original style of the house but the result of a remodeling of the facade, so we decided to show the pre-existences both formal and functional that the house has suffered during its long life.
