Eva´s House is a house that adapts to the pre-existing structure with 112 sqm2 of construction, a very narrow and anonymous facade where the design proposal directs us to work on an idea of free plan leaving the structural elements in evidence. The pool welcomes you to the house causing a surprise within the traditional scheme. The cast-in-place terrazzo floor over the entire first floor functions as a unifying material for the space. The first floor is a multifunctional open space that connects the different areas of the program to the exterior, where the furniture defines each of the spaces and focuses the internal activities, and at the same time the pool in front of it works as a passive air cooling element that refreshes the house.

With the premise of "He arrived first", Casa Tamarindo is a home that aims to explain the symbiosis between architecture and nature. The tree is the main piece and organizing axis of the architectural project. Built elements that frame nature from the main entrance to the other spaces that make up the program. The location of the walls that organize the floor plan functions as guidelines that lead us to the main entrance of the house.

Casa Cocol was part of an old house from the Porfiriato era and that over time was subdivided until it had its currents dimensions with 165 square meters of surface. With the exception of the eclectic style façade in pastel blue, the color palette used in the rest of the house are neutral and raw tones as in the pasta tile floors, the walls, the beams and the white cement and chukum exteriors. It was intended to create a fresh and tropical space through the house by the use of vegetation, and wooden furniture in natural tones, where art and handcrafts would play a leading role in the space.

The concept and name of the project El Nido stands for nest and comes from the Latin word nidus. The term refers to the shelter that birds build with branches, straws and other elements. Just as they make their nests, the goal of this house was to achieve a refuge to be inhabited and enjoyed without major complications, creating a project of great simplicity yet of great spatial richness by using a minimal and simple palette of materials.

EA64 HOUSE is a living space located in Merida´s historic center that seeks a dialogue between colonial and contemporary architecture. The Patios or courtyards are a real composition system, making them the main element that configure the structural order, the interior and exterior visuals which are part of the path. The scale variation and the use of the preexisting galleries helped us for the access and light capture, as for a proper management of the exterior space.

The revitalization Mérida’s historic center has brought with it a new value for built heritage, whether it be partial or total and the interventions we see today are very diverse. Casa Diáfana is an anonymous dwelling on its exterior that adapts to the contextual image of the city, returning to its original façade and joining the rhythm of mass over openings of the neighboring houses. Inside, the existing building the first bay containing the lobby and guest bedroom area is preserved. The building aims to mix two languages; one belonging to the past and the other being contemporary, resulting in our opinion, sustainable architecture with proper use of resources.
