Starting from an urban and practical identity, the comprehensive intervention of the Malecón de Villahermosa sought to restore the population's connection with the nature of the Grijalva River, which had been lost over time and has been key to the sociocultural and economic development of the city of Villahermosa. The construction of a containment wall along the riverbanks, a solution to a past flooding problem, was functional but, over time, fractured the relationship between the natural environment and the city's inhabitants.

Diego Rivera began the great dream of achieving the City of Arts in the South of Mexico City in a landscape of volcanic stone with native vegetation that emerges from it. In the 1940s, he began to imagine how to carry out his project in this place, inviting Juan O'Gorman and his daughter Ruth Rivera to collaborate. They envisioned buildings constructed with the same stone as the site and carried out the first exercises of murals on the ceilings with the colored stones that they later created at Ciudad Universitaria.

The house is located in Sayavedra County in the Esmerald zone, Mexico State . The compositional scheme of this house seeks to exploit the natural slope of the land of ten meters optimizing maximum circulations. We defined several volumes of 6x6 overlapping each other creating a series of terraces and double height ceilings using different spaces. Thus, in the first level is a bedroom and a service area (dressing room and bathroom). At the next level is the terrace, living room, bathroom and kitchen. In the last level there is a bar area with terraces television side. The west of the house borders a forest, which is why most of his views are directed towards it, using existing trees as lighting filters.

One of the guidelines for this project's design was conditioned by the plot's shape; a storm drain created a curve against the straight line of the main street. As a result the L-shaped walls appropriated the plot's geometry while roofs opened northward to provide plenty of indirect lighting.

The Oaxaca House and Studio, built for a plastic artist, is composed of two equal-sized volumes. The client's desire for a terrace for the upper floor studio inspired us to create two staggered volumes, one atop the other, where the roof of the lower volume would become the terrace of the second floor. The interior stair becomes the link and pivot between the two volumes.

The School of Visual Arts of Oaxaca was developed at the request of the artist Francisco Toledo, in collaboration with the Universidad Autonoma Benito Juarez. The lack of a master plan integrating the pre-existing buildings led to the project being designed as a large garden rather than just another building. At the same time, the building under construction on the campus were producing huge amounts of earth. These contingent factors suggested raising a bank of earth to provide the isolation necessary for an art school. Due to calendar and budgetary issues, the school was planned in three stages. The first two have already been built, giving form to what's become known as "the crater", which defines its perimeter with regard to the rest of the campus.
