At a well-known restaurant in the Port of Veracruz, we were commissioned to design and equip an outdoor space for its diners. The intervention took place in an unused old attic. Interestingly, this space boasts the restaurant's best views, yet it was confined by walls that prevented anyone from enjoying this privileged location.

Casa Cincuentayuno was born from the client's desire for a home away from high urban density, built with design freedom and under the single condition of having three bedrooms. This allowed us to question the typology of traditional houses, where visitors typically expect to enter a foyer, followed by a living room, dining room, and finally the bedrooms. Instead, we proposed: why not create a parking space that doubles as a garden, enter the bedrooms directly from there, and make all spaces connected, dynamic, and permeable?
