To revive. The intervention in the Cal Xerta mill aims to avoid the definitive loss of an old paper mill that was in disuse and in an advanced state of ruin, with the intention of locating a paper interpretation center in a future, an activity traditional linked to the valley of the Bitlles river. The first phases of the intervention allowed to consolidate the building, rehabilitate the facades and adapt the ground floor and the old workshops. The structural consolidation has allowed to the creation of a new vertical communications nucleus, non-existent until then, allowing the communication between floors to be communicated and make the future museum tour possible. The action is born from an approach of minimal actions in order to take full advantage of the qualities of pre-existence and maximize them from the point of view of safety, habitability and energy efficiency.

The project aims the rehabilitation of the old Sant Sadurni d'Anoia's modernist schools in order to host a cultural center with library and archive. The historic building is located on a rectangular plot bounded by four streets. The historic building is located in the western part of the plot, and develops in the form of an U, a frequent school typology of the early twentieth century, around a courtyard, that stretches eastward. The proposed program surpassed the constructed surface of the historic building and obliged to propose an extension with a new body occupying the old school courtyard.

The police station is located in a municipal plot near the city center. It's part of a unitary project jointly with the municipal library and the urbanization of the adjacent outer space. The placement of the two buildings, resolves the connectivity between the different free spaces of the environment and allows creating a square in front of the building, which is the public access.

The building is formed by two parallel bodies hosting a modular programme of laboratories and associated offices. The layout of the program and facility spaces allow to create independent work units, according to the needs of the moment. The two arms are articulated through a perpendicular and shorter body, that solves the common program of management, the main entrance and the facade to the street.

Transformation of a massive VOLUME, closed and geometrically confused, in an open space, diaphanous and representative.
