The landscape was an essential element to develop this project along with the site topography. The main concept of this design was to keep privacy while exploring visual amplitude and nature connection. The ground floor projective intention is a U-shaped form that surrounds the pool and is surrounded by the landscape. On this floor, the main spaces and uses are integrated, and there are between them, living, dining, and gourmet area. Around those uses previously related, on this floor, there are a kitchen, laundry, cinema, and office, they, together, help to guarantee privacy.

This house is located on the Brazilian Southern coast, and it is use during holidays and weekends by a young couple. The client’s aim to a refugee on the bayside to welcome friends and family.

Loft Chartier / Studio Colnaghi Arquitetura

Loft Chartier is a small well-located apartment. It is designed to host a young couple during weekends, so its main purporse is to be as practical as beautiful. The apartment itself has some qualities, like a corner window and a concrete slab. So, those were importante tools to compose the interior design. In order to contrast to the brutalist aspect of the apartament, we design a wood ceilling in the main entrance. So, this element also appear as a wall pannel which hides a door.

Casa A + C is a single-family residence located on a large, flat plot with connection to two streets, close to the Porto Alegre - Metropolitan Region, in Dois Irmãos. Next to the residence, there was an extension, next to the swimming pool, to support the leisure activities of the family. Thus, the project arises through a need to expand the space and potentiate its use, but maintaining the connection with the amplitude of the place. In addition, the family realized the need to complement the home to welcome their friends and family members without worrying about the routine and the organization of the house.
