ER Apartment/ Pascali Semerdjian Arquitetura

The ER apartment is a 376m² single floor located in São Paulo. The project is harmonious in terms of materiality and a retrofit of the 80´s building. The new spaces display custom elements specially designed for the project, tailored for the family needs. The social areas occupy half of the apartment, while sliding doors allow private circulation between the intimate areas, creating an intimate sanctum within the larger context. A special furniture curatorship is highlighted by the material composition, such as the original concrete ceiling of the building. Their only brief was to have a number of rooms that catered to the privacy of all family members, at the same time bringing fluidity and connection between spaces. They made only one requirement: the clients wanted to have only certified materials and companies (environmental and socially). This demand guided our material and supplier choices.

TEM CAFÉ / Pascali Semerdjian Architects + Ivan Ventura Architecture

Located in São Paulo's traditional Higienópolis neighborhood, the "Tem Café" store was conceptually designed to recreate the atmosphere of coffee nurseries, where a portion of the products on display originate. The materials used to build the space range from nursery shading screens to reclaimed wood from deactivated farm structures, making it a true oasis for coffee lovers.

Located in the city of São Paulo, this project was designed for a family from Rio de Janeiro who uses the apartment only a few days a week. Consequently, the search for technical and conceptual simplicity guided the design process.

The interior of this 970-square-foot apartment, located in one of São Paulo's main neighborhoods, dated back to the 1950s. The challenge was to renovate it for a young owner who uses the space to both live and work, hosting both friends and clients.
