Warsaw's HOOD represents an exercise in duality across 108 square meters. Located at 37 Poznańska Street, the space operates on a continuous cycle, seamlessly transforming from morning coffee service to evening sets. The project consciously eschews decoration, offering instead a dialogue between raw materiality and surgically precise geometry, where calm and dynamism coexist.

Where strict geometry (black) is combined with careless, smooth, glossy and white (milk), where barista and stainless steel are responsible for the topic of professionalism, and communities are formed around all this. Where can you sit in a bar, where you can accidentally start a dialogue because you are sitting at the same table that permeates the entire space.

This bar is located in the centre of Kharkiv on the first floor of a residential building. Initially, the owners of the premises dismantled all partitions, widened the window openings from floor to ceiling, completed the stained-glass window and organized the entrance to the street. The main feature of the room was the two columns in the centre, which challenged the design. After all, they actually divide a large space into small zones. During the design process, each of the zones received its own function. Dark space and luminous cells that attract people like moths to light are the main metaphor of the project.
